Janet Bellantoni

Janet began rowing at the University of Rochester, where she served as a two-time team captain, was selected for the US Lightweight Women’s Development Camp, and stroked a gold medal eight at Eastern Sprints. She went on as an athlete at the U.S. National Team Lightweight Training Center, then known as Boston Rowing Center, and multiple national team selection camps. During that time as an elite rower, she won medals at the Lucerne Regatta, World University Games, US Olympic Festival, Elite Rowing Nationals, Head of the Charles, and Canadian Henley. As a master’s athlete for the last 20 years, she has consistently earned medals from large events such as the Head of the Charles, Master’s Nationals, and the San Diego Crew Classic. She is currently coaches at Redwood Scullers, Bair Island Aquatic Center, and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center.
