Sabaudia, Italy is one of the training locations for the Italian National Team, as well as some Eastern European nations.  We have been traveling to Sabaudia since 2010.  It is located about 100 kilometers south of Rome and is a walkable beach town.   They boast an international  rowing course.   We do a day trip to the island of Ponza in the middle of camp, where the kids have the opportunity to swim, snorkel and relax.    Our goal at camp is always to teach fundamentals, give the kids a new cultural experience as well as make new friends from across the country.  We have adult coastal athletes that are our camp counselors and we hope to take advantage of being coastal to add some fun beach rowing activities as well, and two to three coaches for rowing sessions.  (Limit 24rowers ages 16 - 18).   If we handle the flights, we are expecting the cost is expected to be $6400.00.  If the athlete flies direct to Rome and meets us at the airport, the cost is expected to be $5000.00.
