Home city/state: Princeton, NJ

I began my rowing career at the University of Alabama in 2002 before it became an NCAA program. Four years of rowing and our various local wins by our women’s team brought attention to the university promoting it to a D1 program in 2006, a season after I graduated. Once the program split, I began coaching the club men’s program from 2006-2010. In 2010, I moved to Princeton, NJ where I took a job with USRowing and began rowing with Carnegie Lake. Shortly after I moved to the area, I began coaching The College of New Jersey from 2010-2018. I left USRowing to pursue law enforcement in 2014, but continued coaching until my career in law enforcement provided me an opportunity in the K-9 unit. During this time I continued rowing with Carnegie Lake until a new venture with a small, competitive club, FILO Rowing, was established. Covid presented difficulty continuing to row with Carnegie Lake so FILO Rowing has been my home the last few years!
