
Allison Mueller

Allison started rowing Division 1 at the University of Iowa before joining Carnegie Lake Rowing Association in Princeton in 2010. She has collected sweep and sculling medals in a number of masters events at the World Rowing Masters Regatta, USRowing Masters Nationals, Head of the Charles, Head of the Housatonic, Head of the Hooch, King’s Head, Stonewall Regatta, Schuylkill Navy Regatta, Independence Day Regatta, Quaker City Masters, Diamond States Regatta, and Carnegie Lake Regatta.
In 2019, Allison stroked her CLRA crews to gold in the C four and D eight at the Stonewall Regatta, gold in the C eight at the Schuylkill Navy Regatta, and gold in the C eight at the Independence Day Regatta. Most recently, Allison won gold with FILO Rowing in the women’s single (40-49) and women’s eight (40-49) at the 2021 Head of the Schuylkill.
Allison is sponsored by JL Racing and is an active USRowing referee in the Mid-Atlantic region. Outside of rowing, Allison enjoys cycling, alpine and nordic skiing, kayaking, SUP, and competes in 5k, half and full marathons. Following her 12-year career as Communications Director at USRowing, she founded Mueller Communications, a boutique media consulting agency with a client base of government, education, and nonprofit organizations. She served as Venue Media Manager for rowing and canoe events at the 2020(1) Olympic Games in Tokyo and is currently an associate faculty member in the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University.
